Brunch your way at The Finch, Powai
Brunch is an idle thing to do on any day, especially on a Sunday. What could be more appealing than a lazy afternoon spent in the company of delicious food and mind-blowing cocktail, to top it all an excellent duo performing a gig. We have this new found love for brunches, give this to us, and we are a happy bunch.
Last Sunday we decided to head to The Finch for brunch, and we were pleased with our decision.
They have curated a special menu for brunch the prices for same are Rs.2,250/- Unlimited Food & Alcohol, Rs.1,750 Unlimited Food & Non-Alcoholic Beverages and Kids brunch Rs.850/-. We had a gala time glutting on the food and drinks and getting high on the gig.
Here is what we had and we gotta say about it…
The Korean soup was refreshing with minimal flavors and just about sufficient veggies.
A healthy start with Lebanese Mezze Platter that consisted of Grilled Pita bread accompanied by Hummus, Baba Ganouche, Green olives with Feta Cheese. The warm grilled pita was a good choice, all the dips for mezze were delish and close to what one can find for Lebanese food in Mumbai.
Our beloved potato was the next in line with a sweet and chili taste, crispy baby potatoes topped with sesame and spring onions.
Melt in mouth Mushroom Galouti Kebab was the most delectable dishes we had here.
The shy and straightforward Chestnut and Veggies Dumplings came with the wild garlic sauce.
Classic is the one that we love the most, Linguini Aglio-E-Olio was served to our liking with just Olive oil, Garlic, and pepper.
Loved their Caramel Cheese Cake and Basbousa a middle eastern dessert made of Samolina and Rose scented syrup.
Everything is arranged in a buffet, and they serve more thing than what we have mentioned as we stuck to fewer dishes as we wanted to relish the taste of our liked food.
The entire meal was washed down with Smoked Rosemary G&T and Red Wine Sangria, where the former was mind-boggling the later was just above average.
We recommend you check out their brunch menu and otherwise too.
P.S.: They are soon to launch their Microbrewery within their premises and are expected to start serving Belgium Wit, IPA, Apple Cider, Hefe Weizen and Nitro Stout. We are waiting to get our hands on their newest members. What about you?
