Antares, Goa – Chill with a fabulous view
Goa is all about beaches, drinks, and nightlife for most of the people. For us, Goa is all about the beauty, the view, the peace and fabulous food.
This year on the occasion of one of the Chori’s Birthday we planned a trip to Goa and Antares was present on our list of places to visit. So we decided to drop by on her birthday and we made just the right choice.
As we entered we were soaked in the soulful music of the artists playing live music, the cheery crowd and the sweet smell of the sea. As we got to our seat we couldn’t be happier as it was one of the perfect spots to enjoy the sunset.
If this isn’t enough to convince someone to visit the restaurant than the fabulous food and cocktail is.
We tried a couple of Cocktails and the Vegetarian food and we were delighted by it.
Not too much bread, more of juicy, fresh and crunchy tomatoes, the slight brie and balsamic builds the taste.
Perfectly crisp from the outside, gooey from the inside, tasted fab, however, I could miss the Mayonnaise.
Chargrilled corn cubes marinated with Paprika Oil, Jalapenos Mayonnaise, and fresh Parsley. Its a good snack to munch on.
We absolutely loved this, the crunch fried Papad, with Creamy Mushrooms and Fried Onions is a delight to your taste buds.
The tender corn taco shells filled with Roasted Corn Kernels, sauteed Capsicum and Zucchini drizzled with mayonnaise.
Pest Mushrooms with Pine Nuts was another great dish. (we couldn’t wait to click, so ate it)
We also tried Shitake Mushroom Risotto with Parmesan which was great. We couldn’t click pictures of anything post this as our camera battery died with all the clicking of the site and other places.
For desserts, we tried Deconstructed Banoffee Pie Cheesecake and caramelized Banana, and Sara’s Famous Masterchef Iced Candied Orange and Streusel both were mind-boggling.
We were amazed by how the food was simple yet interesting, not too much drama except for the desserts. The Cocktails were fabulous and it helped us washdown the entire meal as a good companion and went about right with the food.
In Goa, you just can’t miss this place
